Dianne’s Quick Stew
3 to 4 pounds Stew Meat, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
8 to 14 ounces fresh Salsa
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Heat pan until hot then add the meat and brown it. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper to taste, turn heat on low and pour fresh salsa over the meat. Cover and simmer for approximately 30 to 40 minutes or until the meat is tender. This is excellent over brown rice or mashed potatoes. I love grilled asparagus as a side dish!
