Pan Fried Salmon in Coconut oil

fried salmon3 to 4 salmon steaks
3 to 4 tablespoons coconut oil
Garlic salt to taste
Pepper to taste (optional)

Wash and pat dry the salmon steaks.

In a large fry pan heat the coconut oil until very hot. Lay the fresh fish into the pan and sprinkle with garlic salt.

The secret to this is not to over-cook—let the inside be a little pink. Fry until seared and slightly cooked on one side, then turn over and repeat frying. The fish should be crispy on the outside, tender and pink on the inside.

Serve with brown rice and veggies. Yum!
