Brown Sugar Short Bread

1 cup Salted Butter
1½ cups Brown Sugar, packed
2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Pre-heat the oven to 375°.

Using an electric mixer or mixing by hand, combine all ingredients.

On a lightly floured board, roll the dough to so that it is about 1-inch thick and cut with a cookie cutter, or press the dough evenly into a shortbread pan.

If making cookies, bake for 10-15 minutes. If using a shortbread pan, bake for 1/2 hour.
