biscuits No Fail Biscuits

2 cups Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
3/4 teaspoon Salt
3 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
5 tablespoons Butter or Shortening
     (I use butter)
1 cup Buttermilk

Combine dry ingredients then cut in butter. Mix in buttermilk – then gently pat out on floured surface to 1/2″ thick. Cut biscuits without over manipulating dough. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
