BLTA - Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato & Avocado Sandwich
12 slices Applewood Smoked Bacon (no nitrates)
8 pieces of good hearty Whole Wheat Bread
Mayo made with olive oil or grape seed oil
2 small Avocados
8 Tomato slices
4 large leaves Romaine Lettuce
Toast bread. Spread mayo over both slices. Layer lettuce on the bottom, next tomatoes, avocados, and lastly the bacon. Salt and pepper to taste, and place remaining slice on top. You can cut this into quarters, or cut them in half. Serve with a hearty bowl of soup, or a large salad. Yum!
